A Gathering Space
A nature-connected venue for retreats, workshops, and community gatheringsNestled at the forest’s edge in Center Ossipee, New Hampshire, The Gathering Space is a 24′ × 24′ timber structure with mountain views toward Mt. Chocorua. Designed for small groups of 6-15 people, it will offer an inspiring setting for retreats, workshops, movement practices, and contemplative gatherings (Spring 2026).
Current Status
Phase One is complete with foundation and structure in place. We’re raising $30,000 to finish the interior and connect utilities (water, electricity, climate control) for year-round use.
Who is This For?
- Leadership teams and organizations hosting retreats and planning sessions
- Yoga instructors, movement practitioners, and wellness professionals
- Community groups, nonprofits, and local organizations
- Workshop leaders, trainers, and facilitators
- Teams seeking time away from the office to align and connect
The space will host periodic public EcoDialogues sessions—open community gatherings focused on dialogue, reflection, and collective insight. These sessions will complement our regular programming and provide accessible entry points for those new to contemplative practice.
Mission Impact
Rental income directly supports UYM Charities’ accessible programming, including EcoDialogues and Aging Well. Rental income will help fund scholarships for individuals and community groups who need these services but lack the resources to pay market rates.
As a 50% charitable donation organization, your gifts to UYM Charities are eligible for tax deductions up to 50% of your adjusted gross income (AGI). This is a higher threshold than many nonprofits, allowing you to make a bigger difference while maximizing your tax savings.
